Who we support

Wardrobe Foundation supports women who are in need of clothing support, through registered charities, organisations and professionals across Wessex.  

Organisations/professionals can submit a clothing request for a women they support who is in need of a gift bag of clothes.

Clothing Gift Bags

Using the information we receive, we put together a personalised clothing gift bag of foundation wardrobe pieces (approx. 18 items), containing items that are size appropriate and required but importantly based on the individuals style & colour preferences.

Wessex based organisations

All our clothing support is delivered through incredible charities, organisations and community groups based in Wessex. With each one going above and beyond to provide what they can to those who are in need.

Outreach Clothing

Thanks to the generous clothing donations we receive, we are often able to provide seasonally appropriate clothing rails to organisations. Through the summer of 2025, clothing was provided to local women’s refuges, Home Start Wessex, Recovery Swim Club and as part of the Dorset Working Women’s Project. All were a big success!

Workwear

A major and often overlooked factor of job support is having access to the appropriate clothing. By working with local organisations such as Spear and My Time Young Carers we can help where we can with providing interview or workwear to those who need it.
