We endeavour to make use of every garment we receive at Wardrobe Foundation and to keep clothing in circulation for as long as possible. Repairing or up cycling. Nothing is wasted!
Clothes we deem unsuitable are cut up and made into our gorgeous gifting bags. Each bag is individual and we love matching the bag to the colour/fabric theme of each request.
Smaller off cuts of fabric are cut into squares to make the tote bags we sell to raise funds.
We have lots of squares to cut and are always looking for help with this project. If you are interested in helping with tote bags or any of our up-cycling, please contact Lisa: email@example.com
We are incredibly grateful to partner with Arts University Bournemouth and their talented students who help make these unique one off tote bags.
We also make lots of seasonal up cycled items that can be purchased at High Mead Farm and also local craft fairs throughout the year.
In March 2022, hosted by and with the full support of Canford School, we ran our first fashion show! Wearable catwalk items were expertly crafted using end of line & damaged clothing and the results were incredible. This event showcased the results of repurposing and centred around the theme of Metamorphosis. Highlighting the transformation of textile waste into something new and the work of Wardrobe Foundation.
